Since 2018, Hon. Moima Dabah Briggs-Mensah has prioritized youth empowerment as a pillar of her development strategy. More than 500 young people have benefited from vocational and entrepreneurial training programs funded and supported by her office.

These initiatives have included skills in tailoring, ICT, carpentry, cosmetology, and solar installation, with many trainees now self-employed or working in their communities. “Youth are not just the future; they are the strength of today’s Liberia,” Hon. Moima said during her most recent graduation ceremony in Gbonota. New cohorts are scheduled to begin training in 2025. Visit the Empowerment section of the website to learn more or apply.
