Our Family Life Agenda

Where Leadership Begins—At Home

At the heart of Hon. Moima Dabah Briggs Mensah’s leadership is a deep devotion to family both within her home and across her district and country. As a loving wife to Mr. Joseph L. Mensah and a nurturing mother, sister, aunty, and grandma she brings warmth, empathy, and strength to every aspect of her life. Beyond her biological children, she is a mother figure to countless children in Salala and Liberia, offering guidance, support, and protection to those in need. Her ability to lead with heart and raise others with dignity reminds us that true leadership begins not in office, but at home with love, sacrifice, and an unwavering commitment to others.

Strengthening the Foundation of Society—One Home at a Time

At the heart of every strong nation lies the family—the first institution of learning, values, resilience, and love. Hon. Moima Dabah Briggs-Mensah recognizes that national transformation begins with stable, empowered households. Our Family Life Agenda is a bold commitment to protect, uplift, and equip families across Salala District and beyond.

What We Stand For:

Parental Empowerment
We support mothers and fathers with training in parenting, family budgeting, and emotional support. Through community workshops and local partnerships, we aim to strengthen the capacity of parents to raise healthy, confident, and disciplined children.

Child Protection & Development
Every child deserves a safe home, quality education, and nurturing care. We work to ensure that policies reflect children’s rights, safety from abuse, and access to food, shelter, and education.

Marriage & Domestic Stability
We promote values of mutual respect, conflict resolution, and gender harmony within the home. Our programs will target reducing domestic violence, encouraging faith-based counseling, and strengthening marital relationships.

✅ Family Health & Wellness
Through our health agenda, we prioritize maternal care, nutrition, reproductive education, and mental health services for families—because strong families begin with healthy individuals.

✅ Economic Security for Families
A family without income is a family under stress. We support household empowerment through access to microloans, farming tools, business training, and women/youth entrepreneurship.
